It is our open house today where the team at DC Labs welcomes in academics, professional staff at the university and friends for an afternoon of games and demos based on our most recent work and developments, including Jellyfishin’, an eco-friendly VR experience, now part of the educational offering at The Deep in Hull and AI futures.
There will be an opportunity to talk about future collaborations, try out some new tech or just enjoy the atmosphere, play some games and partake of mulled wine, cheese and mince pies.
The event will close in the early evening with carols around the Ron Cooke Hub Christmas tree, led by the DC Labs and Friends choir.
Christmas jumpers and Santa hats are optional.
There may or may not be a dancing robot (I will blog about that later)….
